Kryvyi Rih progresses with concasters, coke battery projects
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is completing preparations for two new continuous casters installation and is at an active construction stage of coke oven battery No 5, the Ukrainian steelmaker says.
The company will soon start construction works of the continuous caster machines (CCM) 2 and 3, worth a total of $100 million. The CCMs will have 1.4 million tonnes/year capacity each, ArcelorMittal says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
