AM Castle sheds energy inventory, closes two facilities
Oak Brook, Illinois-based service center chain AM Castle & Co. plans to sell its energy product inventory to Triple-S Tube Supply for $27.5 million, Kallanish learns from a company release.
The inventory, currently housed at the company’s Edmonton, Alberta, and Houston, Texas, service centers, came in part from AM Castle’s 2011 purchase of Tube Supply for $165m. The sale is expected to close by the end of the year.
