AM Castle looks to sell plastics, energy assets
US specialty metals and plastics service centre chain AM Castle & Co. plans to divest some of its plastics and energy assets, Kallanish learns from a company update. This is to pare down its costs in a difficult global market, it says.
In concert with its on-going financial restructuring, AM Castle is selling its Total Plastics Inc subsidiary company and “… certain assets related to our underperforming energy business,” the company says.
