Alutech begins rebar production in Guatemala
Honduran steel producer Alutech has increased its presence in the Central American market. The Grupo Emco Holding company officially inaugurated its electric steel plant in Guatemala on 21 May, Kallanish notes.
The new facility aims to produce 70,000 tonnes/year of rebar. The investment is $50 million.
