Altifort to submit new offer for Saint-Saulve
The French government has asked French Group Altifort to submit a new offer for the takeover of the troubled Ascoval Saint-Saulve steel mill in northern France. According to press reports confirmed by the Ministry of Economy, the new offer will not include any investment from current shareholder Vallourec. A meeting is scheduled for 31 October at the Ministry of Economy in Paris with all interested parties.
