Alliance Steel hot tests wire rod line
Malaysia's Alliance Steel's No. 2 wire rod line is reported as having been hot tested on 1 March, according to Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd subsidiary Shanghai Baoye Group. This also marks the official start of production at the line, with an initial run rate of around 10,000 tonnes/day, Kallanish notes.
