Algeria’s El Hadjar plans to boost 2018 exports
Algeria’s integrated steelmaker El Hadjar has exported some 22,000 tonnes of steel products, including billets and bars, so far this year, Kallanish understands from local sources. The mill expects to boost exports next year to 100,000t.
The exports so far have been directed to Egypt and Italy, generating sales of over $7 million.
