Algeria's Qatari Steel to start up rod mill
Algeria's Qatari Steel (AQS) is starting this month to hot test its new 500,000 tonnes/year wire rod mill, a source at Danieli, the provider of the technology, tells Kallanish. The new mill located in the Jijel region, is 49% controlled by Qatar Steel International.
