Algerian Qatari Steel increases domestic rebar prices
Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS) has announced a DZD 2,000/tonne ($15/t) increase in domestic rebar prices, effective 14 August, while keeping wire rod prices unchanged, Kallanish notes from the company.
The new rebar price is at DZD 104,400/t ex-works, while wire rod is at DZD 104,200/t ex-works.
The price in DZD includes 19% VAT. Excluding VAT, these prices convert to $629/t and $627/t respectively.
