Algerian Qatari Steel gathers bids for longs exports
Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS) launched a call for billet bids on 8 January with a deadline of 10 January at 4pm GMT, according to a company statement.
The steelmaker received two confirmed bids on Tuesday at $520/tonne and $523/t fob Algeria for end-January/February shipments, Kallanish learns.
Initially, the target price was at around $539/t fob for E500 quality billet.
