Al Jazeera revenue soars, profit shrinks
Oman-based Al Jazeera Steel (AJS) reported a 35% on-year surge in consolidated revenue for the first quarter of 2022 to OMR 40.68 million ($105.82m). However, its net profit shrank 14% to OMR 1.71m.
The company's expenses increased by 38% on-year to OMR 38.97m in Q1 2022, according to an unaudited preliminary bourse filing monitored by Kallanish.
