Aktobe begins Uzbekistan shipments following GOST certification receipt
Aktobe Rail and Section Works (ARBZ) has started rail exports to Uzbekistan Railways after the Kazakhstani firm received Russian GOST certification for its rail. Most former Soviet Union countries prefer to use rails which adhere to these standards, according to the firm.
As of 9 November ARBZ had shipped 330.8 tonnes of rail to Uzbekistan, with 15,000t of shipments overall stipulated in the contract.
