AKORA upgrades Bekisopa’s Southern Zone iron ore resource
Australian miner AKORA Resources has upgraded the mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Southern Zone of the Bekisopa iron ore project in Madagascar, Kallanish notes.
The project’s MRE has been upgraded by 34% to 5.54 million tonnes of direct shipping ore (DSO) grading 60.35% iron in the indicated and inferred category, as compared to its previous estimate.
Within this is a 4.42mt DSO indicated resource grading 60.86% Fe.
