AISL, Karnataka government ink steel plant agreement
India’s Baldota Group subsidiary Aaress Iron and Steel (AISL) has signed a memorandum of understanding to install a 3.5 million tonne/year capacity integrated steel plant in the Koppal district of Karnataka. The steel company will spend INR 18,000 crores ($2.17 billion) to set up the unit, Kallanish notes.
