US steel imports fall in February
US steel imports appear to have fallen in February, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
Citing data from the US Department of Commerce, the institute puts the number of steel import applications for February at 1.823 million tonnes, which was a decrease of -41.8% from January's preliminary import total.
