US raw steel production upticks week-on-week
US raw steel production in the week ended 13 February rose 1.1% from the previous week but remains slightly down year on year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI).
US raw steel production was 1.703 million net tons last week at an average capability utilisation of 72.8%. In the week prior, production was 1.685m nt at an average capability utilisation of 71.9%.
