Aisha Steel deliveries plunge but exports jump

Owing to subdued demand, costlier feedstock and rising international prices compounded by the depreciating Pakistani rupee, Aisha Steel dropped steel output during July-December 2021, the first fiscal half-year. The mill recorded a 3% on-year output drop to 174,200 tonnes, against 179,070t produced a year earlier.
