Ahmsa completes maintenance work at Monclava mill
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) has completed a major annual maintenance program at its main mill in Monclova, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
The work involved the main operating units, blast furnace number 5, BOF 2 and continuous casting, power plant 5 and the hot rolling mill.
The steelmaker said that it has spent MXN 400 million ($21m) on this work which was carried out between February and March.
