Afrimat forecasts profit on 'exceptional' iron ore performance
South African iron ore miner Afrimat says it expects profit before tax to rise 10-15% on-year in the six months through 31 August on the back of “…exceptional growth” resulting from favourable pricing.
Six-month earnings per share are expected to be between ZAR 1.84 and ZAR 1.93 ($0.11-0.12) versus ZAR 1.84 last year.
