Africa lifts Turkish wire rod exports in September
Turkish wire rod exports ended their downward trend in September, surging 20.4% on-year to 157,661 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They were also up from 116,009t in July and 150,008t in August.
Their average price was $676/tonne, down from $824.5/t in September 2021 and $694/t in August 2022.
