Aferpi begins final process to choose EAF supplier
Cevital ceo Issad Rebrab will spend the next three days attending a series of meetings with several turnkey contractors to discuss the installation of Aferpi’s new electric arc furnace in Piombino, Kallanish learns. Sources in the industry suggest that Rebrab is expected to select a supplier and sign an initial memorandum of understanding by the end of the year.
