AEMZ increases production amid reduced downtime
Abinsk Electric Steelworks (AEMZ), part of Russia’s Novostal-M, set a new production record in March in the section rolling shop, the company says.
Last month, mill 210 at AEMZ distinguished itself with output of 68,830 tonnes and mill 212 with 55,132t, Kallanish notes. The record overall monthly production at the shop reached 179,609t.
Competent production planning and reduction of downtime contributed to the performance, the enterprise claims.
