Activity continues in Turkish scrap market, prices flat
More Turkish mills are seen to have returned to the scrap market on Friday to fulfil their March-shipment requirements. However, amid poor steel sales, they are showing more interest in short-sea scrap.
Numerous short-sea bookings were concluded towards the end of last week, with prices at $408/tonne cfr Marmara from Croatia, $406/t cfr Black Sea from Romania, and $405/t cfr Marmara from Romania.
