Aceros Arequipa completes acquisition of steel distributor
Peru’s main electric arc furnace-based long products supplier, Aceros Arequipa (AA), has finalised the purchase of a significant stake in local steel distributor Comfer, Kallanish notes.
“Aceros Arequipa clarifies that it has completed the purchase of 96% of shares of Comfer at the price of $16.8 million,” the steelmaker says in a stock exchange filing.
