Aceros Arequipa to close rolling mill
Aceros Arequipa, the main Peruvian steelmaker, has announced the intention to close its rolling mill located in Arequipa. It will transfer all the production to its EAF-based integrated mill in Pisco, the company said in a statement seen by Kallanish.
The Arequipa plant is specialised in the production of sections, with a capacity of some 100,000 tonnes/year.
