Acciaierie d'Italia to furlough workers
Acciaierie d’Italia, formerly known as Ilva, is to implement 13 weeks of temporary furlough. The company is allowed to access the state scheme for a maximum of 3,500 employees at the Taranto steelworks, trade union sources tell Kallanish.
The government will grant the scheme for the period 28 June-26 September due to the impact from the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.
