ABS Sisak to suspend output on weak orders
Danieli unit Acciaierie Bertoli Safau (ABS) plans to suspend production at its Croatia-based Sisak steelworks at the start of 2020. This is due to a lack of orders amid a tough European steel market environment, in particular for the oil sector, an ABS spokesperson tells Kallanish.
“The plan is to restart activities as soon as the conditions of the market allow,” the spokesperson says.
