Abinsk increases rail shipments, focuses on Russian market
Southern Russian scrap-based steelmaker Abinsk Electric Steel Works, part of Novostal-M company, increased railway shipment in January-July, the company says.
It delivered 693,700 tonnes, up by 45.4% on-year, Kallanish notes. The company shipped 496,200t, more 33.6% to Russian costumers and for export 197,400t, up by 86.7% on-year.
In July alone, railway shipments of steel products amounted to 85,200t, less by 6.5% on-month, but increased by 25.8% on-year. …
