Aarti Steels successfully commissions SMS-revamped caster
German technology supplier SMS tells Kallanish that a billet caster that it has recently modernised in India has been successfully restarted.
The two-strand continuous casting machine (CCM) at the Aarti Steels plant in Cuttack has been recommissioned for service less than two months after the upgrade by SMS Concast was completed, the German company says.
