Zhang Xiaogang leaves Angang to head international standards body
Zhang Xiaogang has left his position as chairman and general manager of northern China’s Anshan Iron and Steel (Angang), as well as vice-general secretary of the company's Communist Party organisation, shortly after presiding over his first meeting of the International Standards Organization (ISO), the company confirms. Zhang is the first top exec from China to be appointed president of the global standard-setting group, Kallanish notes.
