Weekly US mill output and utilisation fall, still lag 2014

Weekly US raw steel production was down almost -10% year-on-year during the week ending 22 August 2015 as output dropped in nearly every region of the country. The latest data from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) shows US mills produced 1,742,000 net tons of crude steel during the week of 22 August 2015.
