Voestalpine acquires Italian special wires firm, Trafilerie industriali
Voestalpine Wire Technology, part of the Austrian-based group’s metal engineering division has acquired 100% of Italian drawn wire producer Trafilerie Industriali based in Nervesa della Battaglia,Treviso.
The acquisition follows voestalpine’s plans to expand its product portfolio in the drawn and blank wire business segment, and brings strength to its offering of drawn wire for the automotive industry, it tells Kallanish.
