Vallourec wins contract for North Sea E & P project
French tubemaker Vallourec says that it has been awarded a contract by Technip Umbilicals for super duplex welded tubes for umbilicals for the Edradour project operated by Total in the UK. The volume and value of the contract has not been disclosed.
These will be manufactured at Vallourec’s plant in Venarey-Les Laumes (Burgundy, France), Kallanish notes. Production is scheduled to start end of the third quarter 2014 with a delivery to Technip in Newcas…
