Vallourec lands major French nuclear tube contracts
French tubemaker Vallourec has landed two contracts to manufacture tubes for Areva, the France-headquartered nuclear industry specialist. The steelmaker’s subsidiary Valinox Nucléaire will supply tubes for the refurbishment of steam generators by Areva for two Électricité de France (EDF) nuclear reactors, Vallourec tells Kallanish.
