Valemax docks in China after 2-year hiatus
The 399,975 deadweight tonne Ore Majishan Valemax ore carrier, also known as the Yuan Zhuohai, was reported anchored off the coast of China’s Shandong province on 1 July, waiting to berth at Qingdao’s Dongjiakou port. It is the first Valemax vessel to dock at a Chinese port since April 2013, Kallanish notes.
