Vale Oman pellet output falls on-quarter on maintenance in Q1, but up 3% on-year
Vale’s Oman-based iron ore pelletising plant increased production 2.9% year-on-year in the first quarter to 1.9 million tonnes. This was, however, down 21% on the previous quarter because of a scheduled maintenance stoppage during Q1, Kallanish learns from the firm.
