VAMA adds autosheet treatment line
China’s Valin ArcelorMittal Automotive (VAMA) has ordered a new post treatment section for an autosheet continuous annealing and galvanising line, according to equipment supplier Cockerill Maintenance & Ingenierie (CMI). The investment comes as Chinese steelmakers vie for position in supplying high-grade autosheet to Chinese carmakers, Kallanish notes.
