Unions to meet Cevital's ceo to draw up Piombino road map
Italy’s trade unions are keen to meet with Issab Rebrab, ceo of Cevital, which recently purchased certain Lucchini Piombino assets, in order to clarify the Algerian group’s plans for its new site.
“We expect to find out when modernisation work will begin and understand the procedures related to transferring workers from Lucchini to Cevital,” says Vincenzo Renda, representative with Italian metalworkers’ union Uilm.
