US year-to-date crude steel output stays up on 2013 but only just
US crude steel weekly production fell again year-on-year in the week-ending 18 October, the latest figures released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) show. Year-to date output however remains very marginally up on 2013, Kallanish notes.
