US weekly raw steel output falls for twentieth consecutive week
The year-on-year fall in US weekly raw steel output continued in week-ending 13 June 2015 for the twentieth week in a row. Data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) and monitored by Kallanish, show that the rate of fall in output decelerated. Capability utilisation also fell y-o-y for the 20th week in a row but the rate of fall for this parameter decreased from the previous week’s year-to-date high.
