US weekly raw steel output, capability utilisation slip again
The year-on-year fall in US weekly raw steel output continued in week-ending 18 July 2015 for the twenty-fifth week in a row. Data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) and monitored by Kallanish, show however that the rate of fall in output reduced for the second week in succession. Capability utilisation also fell y-o-y for the 25th week in a row with the rate of fall for this parameter at another year-to-date high.
