US weekly raw steel output, capability utilisation tumble again
The year-on-year fall in US weekly raw steel output continued in week-ending 4 July 2015 for the twenty-third week in a row. Data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) and monitored by Kallanish, show that the rate of fall in output has moderated has accelerated once again. Capability utilisation also fell y-o-y for the 23nd week in a row with the rate of fall for this parameter once again at a year-to-date high.
