Steel exports from US register monthly rise, remain down on-year
US steel exports rose to a 3-month high of 803,030 tonnes in June as shipments to Nafta trading partners picked up. This was 1.7% rise from May’s export level but -15% below June 2014’s exports of 943,300 tonnes, Kallanish calculates from data supplied by the US government.
