US stainless tubing group raises alarm on imports from Asia
The US-based Stainless Steel Tube Trade Advancement Committee (SSTTAC) is alarmed by surging imports of seamless stainless steel tube from China and Japan.
“The Asian producers are edging out imports from other foreign producers, and are entering the US at prices well below those of US producers,” SSTTAC legal counsel David Hartquist said in a news release reviewed by Kallanish.
