US slump in weekly raw steel production continues
As the end of the first quarter of 2015 approaches, US crude steel weekly production and capability utilisation both continue to fall year-on-year. The latest figures for week-ending 14 March 2015, released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) and monitored by Kallanish, show that the recent spate of plant idling is now beginning to bite.
