US service centre group, Mill Steel looking for flat rolling operations
US flats service centre group, Mill Steel Co hopes to complete its 120,000-square-foot capacity expansion in March at its new unit in the Port of Indiana-Jeffersonville. The $16m project, begun last April, houses two slitting lines and a cut-to-length line, and will “enhance the company's service capabilities,” Mill Steel tells Kallanish. The finished building will total 225,000-square-feet, Mill Steel’s largest facility to date, it adds.
