US raw steel weekly output, capability utilisation slip gain
US crude steel weekly production and capability utilisation both continued to dip strongly year-on-year in the week-ending 7 March 2015, the latest figures released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) show. The y-on-y fall in production is the heaviest so far in 2015, Kallanish notes, and capability utilisation also slid below 70%.
