US steel imports dip in March, preliminary figures show
The US imported 3,588,000 net tons (nt) of steel in March, or -3.3% less than indicated by February’s final data according to the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). The institute, which bases its figures on preliminary Census Bureau data, says that import market share however continues to increase.
