US mill shipments fall year-on-year in March and in Q1
US mill shipments of 7.27m tons during the month of March were down -13% from one year prior, Kallanish learns from the latest data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI).
Year-to-date mill shipments of 21.96m tons are also down, by -8% from the 23.85m tons shipped in the first quarter of 2014.
