US Steel Kosice shipments rise in Q2, sales prices plunge
Flat steelmaker US Steel Kosice increased shipments by 4% on-year in the second quarter to 1.09 million net tons. Average selling price, however, plunged to $533/nt from $691/nt, while ebit was down to $20 million from $38m. Capital expenditure, meanwhile, rose to $24m from $17m.
